Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Brenink Studio ("Brenink", "we", "us"), a business owned by Brenda Cazares located at 3030 Plaza Bonita Rd Suite #111, National City, CA 91950, collects, uses and protects the personal information of people who visit brenink.com, book services at our studio, buy our digital guides or enroll in our training programs.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact and inquiry forms: name, email, phone number, a description of the result you are looking for, and any photos you choose to attach (for example, photos of your brows or of existing pigment).
- Consent & waiver form: full name, date of birth, email, phone number, service date, your signature, your legal guardian's name if applicable, your answers to the consent clauses (including those about allergies and aftercare) and whether or not you authorize the use of photos.
- Bookings and purchases: name, email, phone number, the service you chose and, when a kit is shipped, your mailing address.
- Training programs: enrollment details, progress on the course platform and your communications with us.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe and Square. Brenink Studio does not receive or store your full card number; that data is handled directly by those processors under their own privacy policies.
Information collected automatically: when you visit the site we use Google Analytics to understand how it is used (pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location and referring site). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. Our hosting provider also logs basic technical data, such as your IP address, for security and operational purposes.
2. How we use your information
- To answer your inquiries, schedule and confirm appointments, and follow up on your service.
- To assess whether a procedure is right for you and to document your informed consent.
- To process payments, deliver digital guides and, when applicable, ship machines or kits.
- To give you access to the course platform, coordinate in-person sessions and issue certificates.
- To improve our website and services using usage statistics.
- To publish photos of results in our portfolio and on social media, only if you authorized it in the consent form.
- To meet legal, tax and security obligations and to protect our rights.
3. Who we share your information with
Brenink Studio does not sell or rent your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We only share it with providers that help us run the business, and only as much as needed:
- Netlify – website hosting and form submissions.
- Square – appointment booking and in-studio payments.
- Stripe – payments for training programs and digital products.
- Google – site statistics (Google Analytics) and fonts (Google Fonts).
- Course platform (academy.brenink.com) – access to the video modules.
- Shipping carriers, when a kit is shipped.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the safety of our clients, students or others.
4. Cookies and "Do Not Track"
We use Google Analytics cookies for statistics. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Our site does not currently respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for them.
5. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Consent forms and service records are kept for the period required by applicable rules or reasonably needed to handle any claim. You can ask us to remove your photos from our portfolio at any time.
6. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and providers with recognized security standards. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Minors
Our site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
- Permanent makeup, tattoo and pigment removal: microblading, powder brows, nano brows, lip blush, eyeliner, fine line tattoo, pigment removal and any other cosmetic tattooing are performed only on clients 18 or older, even with a parent's consent, as required by California law. We may ask for a valid government-issued ID.
- Permanent jewelry: clients under 18 may receive permanent jewelry with the presence and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Brenink Studio may decline any service when it is not safe or suitable.
For services to minors, we only collect the information reasonably needed for scheduling, the parent's or guardian's consent and service records.
8. Your rights and choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Delete your information, except what we must keep by law.
- Withdraw your authorization to use photos.
- Stop sending you follow-up or promotional messages.
If you live in California, state law (including the California Consumer Privacy Act, where it applies) gives you these rights, and you will not be discriminated against for using them. To make a request, email us at breninkstudio@gmail.com. We may ask for details to verify your identity before responding.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date. If the changes are significant, we will say so visibly on the site.

Cancellation & Refund Policies
1. Studio appointments
Micropigmentation, tattoo and permanent jewelry appointments are scheduled through our booking system. The deposits, cancellation windows and no-show fees shown when you book are part of this policy. If you need to change your appointment, please let us know as early as possible by email or phone.
2. Digital guides (PDF)
Because they are downloadable files delivered immediately after payment, digital guide purchases are final and non-refundable. If you have trouble downloading your guide, email us and we will send it again.
3. Training programs (No Refunds)
Because of the digital and intangible nature of our training programs (Online Pass, Hybrid and Hybrid Premium), all sales are final and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Once your payment is processed and your enrollment is confirmed, you receive immediate or scheduled access to Brenink Studio's knowledge, intellectual property and downloadable materials, which cannot be "returned".
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy and waive any right to dispute the charge because of a change of mind or subjective dissatisfaction.
4. In-person sessions (Hybrid programs)
The in-person portion of the "Hybrid" and "Hybrid Premium" programs has strictly limited spots. Although we do not offer refunds for cancelling a training program, we understand that unexpected things happen, so we apply the following rescheduling policy:
- 14 or more days' notice: You may reschedule your in-person practice session at no extra cost for a future date, subject to Brenink Studio's calendar availability.
- Less than 14 days' notice: You will lose your spot for the practice session. To attend a future session, you will need to pay a late rescheduling fee (the amount will be provided by Brenink Studio).
- No-shows: Not showing up on your scheduled practice day, or arriving so late that the session cannot take place, will be considered abandonment of the practice portion. You will lose the right to the session with no free rescheduling.
5. Shipping and delivery of machines / kits
In programs that include a welding machine and kit, these supplies are delivered as final. Returns of the machine or kit materials are not accepted. Any factory defect in the machine must be reported to us within a strict 72 hours of receipt so we can evaluate a possible replacement under the manufacturer's direct warranty. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse or negligence by the student.
6. Consent
By using our website, booking an appointment, completing a payment or providing your personal information, you agree to this Privacy Policy, these Cancellation Policies and our Terms & Conditions, which also contain the intellectual property rules and the prohibition on recording training content.
